How Mission Farms Got Started?

Mission Farms CBD began in 2018 when the founders were dealing with their own health challenges. After experiencing adverse effects from pharmaceutical drugs, the founders were introduced to CBD and realized that CBD oil helped improve their health without the side effects of the drugs they had previously tried.

One of the Mission Farms CBD founders happened to be a pioneer in farming hemp in the state of Oregon and he was harvesting without chemicals or pesticides in the natural sunlight and soil of Central Oregon. The soil in the region is volcanic, and combined with optimal climate and irrigation from the Deschutes River, the plants are uber healthy and rich in cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, and CBA.

What’s more, Mission Farms uses 100% organic essential oils in their handcrafted products. Essential oils have become very popular in CBD formulations, but few companies use certified organic oils and even fewer use entirely organic.

Mission Farms oversees the entire process “from our farm to your family” and conducts third-party testing throughout production.

How We Tested?

You may have come across several Mission Farms Pet CBD Oil reviews while searching the internet and unfortunately anyone can gather information from other reviews and create their own. Or maybe the review is skewed because they received the product for free in exchange for a more influential outcome.

Too put your mind at ease, this review isn’t sponsored or supported by Mission Farms CBD in any way, shape or form.

We went through the ordering process mentioned in this review and paid with our own money. We also did not contact Mission Farms CBD to let them know that we would be reviewing their products at any point.

Since our review of Mission Farms CBD is completely independent, we were not influenced by them in any way. Our goal is to provide you with a sense of what the actual consumer experience is like from beginning to end.

We provide real reviews because you deserve real tried and true opinions, along with pros and cons that can help you make a well-informed decision about whether the product in question is something your own dog will enjoy or benefit from, and whether you will benefit in any way.

In summary, we ordered CBD products from Pure Hemp Botanicals, making sure to test all those made for dogs. A real dog ingested the CBD products and provided us with quick, trustworthy feedback.

Why You Should Trust Our Review of Mission Farms Pet CBD Oil?

We actually tried this CBD product on one of our dogs. We did not copy or sum up information from other pet parents’ experiences, and we did not repost Mission Farms CBD’s own claims. We also wanted to see the product for ourselves, as well as monitor how our dog responds to this CBD vs. what he has tried in the past.

Because my dog takes CBD for joint pain, without issues, he was the dog we used for this review. His name is Sampson and he is a 6 year old shepherd/pitbull mix who eats anything and everything, but can sense strange ingredients in his food. Sampson doesn’t have any health concerns, conditions, or special needs outside of some joint pains on occasion, but could stand to lose 5 to 10 pounds.

After placing an order with Mission Farms and receiving the products, Sampson spent the next 2 weeks testing the Mission Farms CBD tincture for pets.

During the trial period, we watched for changes in Sampson’s health and behavior. Since he usually has joint pain when taking long hikes or walks, we made sure to keep him active and monitor his reaction to the CBD during this time.

Who This Review Is For?

With so many CBD pet product reviews out there for average pet owners, we wanted to go further. Average pet owners just want a little push to decide if a CBD product is safe, inexpensive and tasty enough for the average dog to take.

This review is different. We wrote it with extra-engaged pet parents in mind. The people, who like us, only want the very best for their furry family members. People who want lab tested products as well as quality ingredients and do not mind spending a few extra bucks doing so.

Our Experience

We began by going to Mission Farms CBD’s website and checking out their pet selections. They currently offer only offer one type of tincture for pets which are based on the dosage of MG’s or size of your animal.

The reviews on the pet CBD oil page is all positive and state they come from verified purchasers. The Mission Farms CBD website offers an about CBD tab which provides articles about the benefits of CBD, how it works and more. There is also a blog section with additional articles about anything and everything relating to CBD and some about the company itself.

With positive reviews, and lots of informative articles, it is hard not to be convinced that they offer a great pet CBD product, but that is not enough for us.

We purchased the dog CBD tincture for Sampson to try, and were not required to create a profile or sign up for a subscription, but they do offer one. We selected the CBD dog tincture with 600 MGs designed for small to large sized pets.

If you want to choose the subscription option you can have it auto shipped every 1 to 3  months and save 15% on your purchase.

Mission Farms CBD does not offer free shipping but does only charge a $5 flat shipping fee.

Once we placed the order, we were notified via email when the order is processed, then notified once again when it shipped, and provided with a tracking number.

Mission Farms CBD does offer a 30 day money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with their products.

The Unboxing

My Mission Farms CBD for Pets package arrived, in my mailbox, about a week after I placed the order. It was packed in a small blue box with the Missions Farms CBD logo on top and lots of shredded paper to keep it safe during transport. It also included a nice brochure about the company and instructions on dosing.

Mission Farms CBD arrives nicely packaged

Not much else to report about the shipping and packaging. I received what I ordered in tact, in a nice box and have no complaints.

What Does Sampson Think About Mission Farms Pet CBD Oil?

I began giving my dog Sampson the Mission Farms Pet CBD oil daily in his food. This process is much easier than trying to get the dropper in your dog’s mouth, but it usually takes longer to kick in. He is not picky about what he eats but can sometimes sense things added to his food. This oil is beef jerky flavor so there is a good chance he will really like it.

Mission Farms CBD recommends .25ml per 20 pounds so for my 60-pound dog I gave him .75ml dose using the graduated dropper.

Adding the CBD tincture to Sampsons kibble

Sampson did not notice the Missions Farms Pet CBD tincture mixed into his food and ate it with no complaints. After about an hour, after ingesting the tincture, he seemed more relaxed and comfortable while on his nightly walk.

During the two week trial of Missions Farms Pet CBD, Sampson did show some improvement on his nightly walks and weekend hikes as well as getting up and down the stairs much easier. He did not have any adverse reactions to the CBD oil and did not seem to notice it added to his food.
